Great Game...Better Than Max Payne

This game has good values. It has disarms, hand to hand and a lot of action moves that would be found in a John Woo movie. I'm not dissing Max Payne or anyting but Dead to Rights has more stuff to do. This game kind of reminds me of that movie "Hard Target" with Van Damme and was also directed by John Woo. Dead to Rights is an awsome game and I can't wait for Dead to Rights 2.

Yeah, it's much better than Max Payne. That is if you are on crack.

The story isn't as good, but the gameplay is infinitely superior.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the story was great, but Max Payne had a lot more thought put into the script... Not to mention that it gets a lot more points for presentation. But on the other hand, Max Payne can't even fight unarmed, let alone do awesome disarms.

While "Dead To Rights" has a lot more variety in terms of gameplay, I find that the "Max Payne" games are better than "DTR". They feel a little more polished off, and the film noir quality is done more successfully in "MP" than in "DTR". Just my two cents.

Gotta agree with Dirkpitt... Max Payne is a better overall experience. While Dead to Rights has more moves and better action, the story wasn't enough for me to keep playing. In Max Payne, every chapter was significant and I wanted to play because I wanted to see what would happen next. None of that here...

Well, Max Payne actually has a tangable plot.

You go from point to point, eliminating people to survive, but it has purpose. There's suspense to it. In DTR, its really just a bunch of generic bad guys thrown at you to kill; that's about it.

So, in terms of comparison -- Max Payne is "Die Hard" and DTR is "Bad Boys." Pretty simple.
