The squad was made up of:
Ballerinas.
Martial Arts experts.
Theatre actors.
Therefore, as is shown in the martial arts part of the routine - their pasts were put to full use in the routine - including the dancer's input too!
They must have already started the routine beforehand knowing they'd need a big one to compete in Nationals - so they probably had a lot of it (if not all of it) in place before they knew they'd only have two days to learn it. It was then only a matter of having two days to make it perfect. And they had enthusiasm, which the Varsity squad did not have.
The one thing I had a problem with was how many MISTAKES the Varsity team made in the competition! It was completely unlikely of a professional squad who have won the National Intercollegiate competition so many times. Unless you believe that they didn't think the Renegades would be any good, so they didn't try...
I'm not saying this film was believeable, or amazingly good. But I did love that they remembered the Renegades DID have Martial Artists and Dancers in the squad...
