I dont care if this is hollywood,at least add something in the plot to give us a reason howthese people learnt backflips and handstands in 2days.

a non stop 48lesson?

they all had dance lessons as kids but kept it secret?

Its too obvious that the bit at the crochet match was already choreographed its too "together"!!!

I do dance at uni and we did impro dance (which is really hard) and we were all over the place!!!!

The squad was made up of:

Ballerinas.

Martial Arts experts.

Theatre actors.

Therefore, as is shown in the martial arts part of the routine - their pasts were put to full use in the routine - including the dancer's input too!

They must have already started the routine beforehand knowing they'd need a big one to compete in Nationals - so they probably had a lot of it (if not all of it) in place before they knew they'd only have two days to learn it. It was then only a matter of having two days to make it perfect. And they had enthusiasm, which the Varsity squad did not have.

The one thing I had a problem with was how many MISTAKES the Varsity team made in the competition! It was completely unlikely of a professional squad who have won the National Intercollegiate competition so many times. Unless you believe that they didn't think the Renegades would be any good, so they didn't try...

I'm not saying this film was believeable, or amazingly good. But I did love that they remembered the Renegades DID have Martial Artists and Dancers in the squad...

and on the first two (?) days, they were sucky and had poor coordination then suddenly on the big day they became so great like they were magically transformed!

I need to wash my eyeballs and earholes after seeing this rubbish. Perhaps the entire cheerleading team borrowed a time stopping device from the bad plot department and studied choreographed performance arts for 2 years straight. Personally, I wish I had a time travelling device simply so I could travel back in time 2 hours, and smash the DVD player before my girlfriend subjected me to this tripe. I will never get my 2 hours back. In fact I'll stop typing this right now, because that movie is still occupying my time, and not another second...

lol. it was only 86 mins. i kept checking as the film went on. worst movie ever...

Fair enough if they were all dancers etc before but they could have atleast shown us them rehearsing it a little bit like the first one did! It just came from NOWHERE that they were that good!!

reply

"i was wondering how greg could sub for them n learn all the choreography in a few hours."

Possibly because he had seen the routine in rehearsals and helped Whittier and Monica out when he could (as he was friends with both of them)

it´s a old sports movie cliché: the underdogs met, they lack of displine, they dont know the games rules, they fall on their feet, they fight and so on. Then the coach gives a motivacional speech, there is a clip moontage and sudden they are the top best of the world and win the championship.
