The part where Marni confronts the new team at the cafeteria about their team doesn't exist because of section "8" (she shown 7 fingers to emphasized 8). And she goes on saying there could be only one team from each school to go to the national. As she spelled out "o-n-e" she signed "o-m-n". Did I found a goof?
shareI'm pretty sure it was intentional. If you noticed, the character of Marni was not the brightest crayon in the box. IDK if it was scripted like that, or Joy just added her own flair to the character, but either way, she's the only reason I will sit through this movie! :)
