End of Series?

Last weeks episode had a preview of 'this week's episode' but it isn't on this week or next week! has the show been axed? i hope not as this is one of the most entertaning drama series i have ever seen.

On another site which features TV program discussion, it has been reported that ITV have put the show on the back burner for the time being with no immediate plans to show the final episode. It will air at some point but it'll probably be a month or so. I also noticed the Series 3 DVD release has moved from February to January 2006 now.

There was only one more episode left. Its not like Making Waves which had 3 still to go. Bit unfair really.

I e-mailed ITV and got this message back from them

The Ultimate Force episodes are stand alone and the final episode of
series 3 will be screened sometime in the Spring. This programme has not
been pulled as it is listed in all the magazines as Poirot and that is
what we will show.

I can't believe ITV could be so lame to fail to show the last episode. Why replace it with a sodding repeat of Poirot? what with the serious lack of decent drama on ITV (Ahead of the class is an exception) it's a shame they've delayed showing the episode. My mums gutted they've binned her saturday night tv show "scream if you want to get off". both her and my aunty vera was waiting for it patiently and even sat through the arduous Jurassic park with the hope it may have been on late.
