Episode 1 - absolutely atrocious, you can see my response in a few of the threads around here

Episode 2 - Superb! At last we had halfway decent character exposition for the new members of Red Troop, no *beep* slow motion pistol diving (there was the machete scene but that was a very self-aware tongue in cheek moment that worked) and plus the central action scene was absolutely phenomenal! Becca didn't turn out to be as irritating as I thought and actually looked somewhat part of the group, especially when she booted that bloke back in the doorway and shot him on the ground, class.
All in all I thought it was one of the most enjoyable episodes of ALL 3 series personally. It's strange however how the show can go from being absolute dire *beep* (episode 1) to being back on form just a single episode later. That makes me wary of the quality of next weeks one.

Good stuff though and quite obviously a riff on everything from Dogs of War to The Wild Geese through Tears of the Son, but well pulled off.

I thought that episode 3 has been the best yet.

It showed the 'oh bloody hell it's all gone wrong' side of the SAS and how they cope with it,

They refernced in the EMbassy attacks, adn showed how a terrorist organisation would use it to up their security. very good

OOC: That slow-mo CGI pistol shot in the 1st episode sucked ass

The people killed on the Balcony were Police Officers not Blue Troop. Only one Blue Troop member was killed, he was inside with Smith providing distraction duty whilst Red Troop moved in through the basement.

I loved episode 2 the best... it was a generally superb eppy, but I loved it so much more to see Louis not being such a tough guy and finally letting his guard down. Ok so it was up again in the nxt eppy and he had returned to being obnoxious again, but we know, we know!

Above all, I think that Ultimate Force has done something that not many TV series can do; this series is certianly better than the other two!!!

The only thing I thought that put a dampner on it was that Ricky and Pete were killed off in the beginning! They did that to us with Jem in the 2nd series! Killing off the best characters! Boo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know why they only did three episodes of Ultimate Force in series 3, I expected there to be 6, have you any news on future episodes being screened?

They aren't. Pure and Simple. Combat Arms of the British Army are strictly men only. If you dig around on the MOD website (www.mod.uk) you can probably find the study of women in combat arms.

Does anyone else watch this show because they find it funny?

On the series 2 dvd i watched a promo for series 3 and henno says 3 of his men have been killed to the woman who joins..

And was Jamie just mentioned as being killed or did u get to see him in it?

jamie, pete and ricky get killed at the begining.
but none of the characters are played by the same actors, instead they get body doubles and cover their faces with shemags (arab face dress) and use poor voices to try and sound like them.
but i do love this series as much as the others, but the other characters who replace them arent as good :(

BRING BACK PETE RICKY AND JAMIE!!!

Dempsy gets rid of her after jamie dies, you dont see her he just tells henno that he got rid of her so he wouldnt have to see her mopey face now that jamies gone
go buy it on dvd, it is worth it

Such a shame for all of them. I hope that we'll see at least Caroline in the next series. Or even they will bring back the guys somehow.
