Series 1 and 2 great but the others....

Imo Series 1 and 2 were fantastic and very entertaining but series 3 and 4 were really dreadful. It wasn't just the fact they got of most of the cast but the dialog was awful and corny, The gunfights became too ott and very hollywood and the show had no realism whatsoever!

ITV certainly know how to butcher a good programme....

Almost everybody would and should agree with you here. Jamie Draven was pretty much the main character along with Henno and imo not having Jamie really lowered the shows ratings, also the new team just didnt gel together very well. Back in series 1 where you had Henno, Jamie, Jem, Pete, Ricky, Caroline and Dempsey(Dottsy was cool aswell) was brillaint, they all went together so well it was untrue. Season 2 was very good aswell, i quite liked loui and sad as it was without Jem it was still very good none the less.

Season 3 it all went to pot. Political correctness finally took over real life bloody rules and the put a woman in it, now im not sexist but that annoyed me so much i almost stopped watching there and then. Killing off Jamie, pete and Ricky was terrible, should have really tried to get Jamie Draven to sign on at the very least. Ed was terrible looked far too young and alwasy appeared inexperienced and such. Dave was just a wannabe Ricky but i could deal with him. But yea, all far too hollywood, espcically the jump the shark moment where becca deos her slow motion jump(shocking)

The list goes on

Right, about 3 episodes into Season 3.....Awful. The earlier were fine. Don't know how they let it slip so throroughly out of control. You'd think they could tell they were screwing it all up....

I really don´t know what´s so bad about the later episodes. Maybe it is that I can´t find out the problem because I am not a native speaker. Anyway to me this show is very much in the good tradition of »The Professionals« which I loved too. This is not supposed to be realistic but good clean fun to watch. I enjoyed all episodes of »UF« very much and I find it very sad to have no british equivalent on tv.
