Henno the toffee nosed twat

Just finished watching Communication and Something To Do With Justice before that and it got me thinkin that realistically the only reason Henno objected to Jamie and Caroline(so *beep* ing hot!) being together is jealousy, pretty sure he was just pissed Jamie got in where he couldn't.Cmon he don't give a s h i t about their careers.

Also I reckon one of the reasons for Jamie gettin axed is because the series was intended to be a star vehicle for Ross Kemp and Jamie Draven was gettin all the best storylines.

Just a few theories, any comments and/or criticism welcome.

That sucks they killed the whole show,Like you were saying above,I was thinkin it wouldve been a good idea to have him transferred to Blue Troop, that way we could have had him back occassionally for guest appearances until he was able to come back fulltime.
I HATE Ultimate Force 3 & 4 without Jamie and Ricky.I think Pete dying was unavoidable, it was gonna happen.
Also I've been wondering what the hell happened to the writing in 3&4 I've read posts about the show "going Hollywood" But I think that has a lot to do with the writing.Any theories??

i love this show (only the first 2 series to be honest) but i think the posters above are right, jamie should have just been deployed somewhere else instead of killing him off.

ricky should have been kept, but his role tuned down a fair bit, and pete, i think we all know that he was gonna end up being killed off. i do find it funny that tony curran has had possibly the best career out of the rest of the actors though. some decent films that hes been in there.

I am going to be the contrarian here: I think Henno was right. In Jem's words: "Shagging Ruperts is wrong." . So Henno had to break it off, or report them. And the fact is that Caroline will be finishing her tour within a year or two, but Jamie as an enlisted soldier had to sign up for a longer term. Bending or breaking the rules will follow him around for much longer. Besides the obvious risk of having your lover around, when doing highly risky jobs or getting into a firefight (that goes for both sides). Neither Caroline nor Jamie put up a fight --they knew from the beginning it was wrong.

The women Henno actually got involved with weren't Army, they were both civilians.
I am with you on the Bosnian doctor, though. Although it seems that Henno clearly sees his "error of judgment" (as he puts it when talking to Laura Twamley about the incident). Pete should have strangled him instead of his "old woman".

Henno and Pru are a good pairing. I love how he has her figured out by Ep5("Wagner, Chablis..." --which we as spectators know from Ep3, seeing her at home, but he doesn't). Since I have only Season 1 and 2, I have no idea if they did develop this any further.

Sadly Pru was another (if quiet) casualty of the Great Series 3 Cull.... She never made it across that gulf between 2 and 3 and fell, silenty and unnoticed somewhere along the path...

I totally agree with you though, Henno wasnt being a hypocrite, what was going on between Jamie and Caroline WAS a serious breach of regs and would get them both bounced out of the regiment. Not to mention that it could well end carolines career altogether.

during episode 1 while Henno (and caroline) clearly wanted to get it on, at least he did have the sense to stop before they crossed a line.

Well, another reason to invest my money in DVDs other than Ultimate Force Series 3 and 4.

Yes it would seem that by series 3, Ross Kemp aka Henno the toffee nosed twat, did not want to share the limelight any more. He realised that he hadn't been the main turn of the show so far. So literally in a flash, out went most of the main cast in the first few minutes of series 3 ep 1. Out went most of the personalities we had come to know, along with all of that wonderful character and storyline development over the first two series.
What a right load of BS. In fact the smell of it is so strong...I think I'll go outside and get some air.

That would be a sad scenario if true....some people call it "Cutting off your nose to spite your face". Whatever you call it...its a bad idea.

Rules are rules but dude give your mate a break. Seems like they had are started to have a great thing going. I love the scene where Jamie and Caroline (OMG so friggin hot) had that one night together.

I'm in the second season but I'm disappointed that both Jaime and especially Caroline won't be back in season 3. She added great sexual tension to the series. I know some other girl Becca is somewhat supposed to take her place but those are some tough shoes to fill.
