Good for cricket lovers and 'haters' alike.

Myself being a huge cricket fan I instantly loved the movie. What made it even better was my sister liked the movie. She's a self confessed cricket hater and yet she loved the movie! She was sitting there asking me all these questions about cricket during and after the movie!

I loved the bit where the cricket cards talk to David :D And the music was awesome!

I agree.

I'm Scottish and cricket is virtually ignored if not actively disliked here. (Frankly, I've never quite been able to understand it, although I think I may be looking for complications that aren't there).

But this is a lovely little film. Its not about cricket as such but simply uses it as its background. I would urge anyone not to let a dislike or ignorance of cricket put them off watching this.

The thing with movies in the 'Sport' genre is they can either be too focused on the sport itself, which really dwindles this away from some.

Wondrous Oblivion manages to put a good balance of cricket and other aspects (such as growing up in Britain where it seems everyone has something against blacks), which makes it a good, enjoyable, educational film with emotion. Something good for schools and family.

I'm from the U.S. and thus know absolutely nothing about cricket. I stll found this to
be a very good film, so fanship is not requisite to enjoyment.
