Why is it that they kill them all in this one, there's a gap and then the Graboids show up again, then they kill them all, 10 years, more Graboids.
Obviously they don't kill them all but we never got to see an ass blaster lay an egg (possible it happened in 3).
Why do they stay dormant and where do the new one's come from?
I know the is no definate answer but I could someone please say something to make me happy? Thanks.

In this movie it was a diverted hot spring that uncovered and hatched the eggs. It was suggested that the heat of the water was a factor but not established. It could be that any time they are exposed and submerged they hatch.
