I hope he's turning out all right. He seemed like a cool kid, but a little wired. (That's WIRED, not weird.) I just saw the movie last night -- really wonderful! This is the first time I've posted to IMDB boards (well, along with my other one to April about "terrene"), and I can't figure out how to give myself a name.

Harry's facial expressions were the most memorable part of this movie to me. Good stuff.

No offense to Harry, but I have got to admit: it was kind of funny. That and the dog-licking-the-woman's-leg-without-her-knowing-it part. Plus, I got a kick out of seeing Darth Maul ( big Star Wars fan ) and the cows in Texas.

The most memorable quote that I can remember was the one from washington d.c. who said that her life was a movie: trials and tribulations and that she eventually overcomes.

Lastly, the other memorable part was the girl who had the "we'll see" attitude of the competition, commenting on the "luck of the draw" factor. I found it interesting that she had a similar philosophy of life as I do.

See? I KNEW this would happen. I knew the second I walked out of that theater that there's gonna bo some crop of weirdo 25+ aged women out there that are gonna wanna look up Altman in 10 years and date him or hook up or whatever.

good god, that's just wrong. Harry's 16 now, he is indeed going into junior year. And yes, he still has those weird facial expressions and randomness.

When I saw this film some other viewers thought Harry was mentally ill - logorrhea - man, wasn't that cruel and uh, kinda hilarious?

I had some empathy for Harry because I was basically like him at his age. Totally non sequitur and kooky and high energy but basically a good kid. I hope everything turns out well for him because its hard to be very intelligent, creative, but lacking in certain social skills! Trust me I know!

One of my friends goes to school with him. He's a junior in high school now, and is still kind of like that - with a horribly horribly annoying laugh and just kind of still hanging on the outside edge of popularity.
