Ending lines?

I noticed something very peculiar on my (Dutch) version of this beautiful movie.

The Dutch subtitles under Meng Kerou's final voiceover are a literal translation from the English ones:

"Seeing your flying color shirt, I'm thinking, one year, three years, five years from now... what would we become? You're kind and cheerful, you'd be more handsome. And I can see... years from now... you're in front of a blue gate. , under the 3pm sun. You still have a few zits. You're smiling and I run to greet you. You nod. 3 or 5 years later, or even later, much later, what kind of grown-up would we be? PE teacher? Or mom? Though I can't see myself even with my eyes closed. I can see you."

BUT, a line has been added. After "I can see you" , her last words are subtitled by "I'm a girl who likes boys". I believe those were the words she etched into the sand when she was crying after her friendship got broken off. It'd be a vital line, as it makes the ending a tad less open. To be honest, I'd like the ending better without that strange addition.

Can anyone who understands the spoken language tell me whether those words are actually said, or just added by a overactive subtitler?

edit: bah. Found some English subtitles, and the line ís there, but it's supposed to be a translation of what was written on the wall. On my DVD, the line somehow got timed under her last spoken words, instead of her writing (done at the earlier time of doubt). What a grave error.
