Weird Little Documentary

I'm always put off by Ellroy's crude language. He and his wife come across as homophobic at times. However, I'm reminded by the fact that this man is haunted by his mother's murder and will not get relief until he takes his last breath in this world. The documentary is primarily a vent for his feelings. Very little is about the Black Dahlia and little more is about other unsolved cases. It's not a great documentary. It is good and watchable.
