ending???? (possible spoilers)

Catarina ends up killing her older sister by giving her the same poison that was used to kill the men.

Why does the elder sister go ahead and finish drinking the poison, though? You can tell from her expression that she knows that there is poison in the soup/broth/whatever that the younger sister offered her.
