What IS brown sauce?
I've never heard of it before! Is it just a British thing?
shareYeah.. it's pretty popular in UK. Particularly with bacon and sauages and stuff.
It's made out from vinegar, tomatoes and spices. i think it used to be made from apples too... it's an aquired taste. I've never heard of anyone putting it in tea tho; i suspect it may be *beep* or a prank on the audience.
I can't believe anybody would put brown sauce or any other kind of outside flavoring on bacon. It just doesn't seem morally right to me.

It's a sauce that divides people. Some swear by it and others wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
shareFYI: The movie is set in Dublin which is the capital of Ireland which is a country that is not part of the UK; the citizens of which are not British.

I thought that was to the OP asking if it was a "British thing."
