How???

How could such a trainwreck like this go unnoticed for so long?! I first saw this when I was in 4th grade and made a mental note to never forget how ridiculous this TV special and song were. Upon getting a copy from eBay and watching it for the first time in 14 years, I thank Jesus Christ that this was made. Somebody else needs to see this right now so that the discussion can begin! This is such a forgotten stain on pop culture and should be embraced for decades to come as an enormous embarrassment to all involved, even knowing that their hearts were in the right place.

I really could care less about the documentary. For me, the song itself was worth it.

My father was serving in Operation Desert Storm at the time, and it was really great to see & hear the support of many celebrities. Let's not forget, we tend to only hear from the celebrities that are opposed to foreign conflict.

I understand what you are trying to say, but it is incredibly rude & disrespectful to say anything negative about what Voices that Care was trying to accomplish. You may as well be saying those negative things about people like my father.

Shame on you.
