In the story she ends up going back to her husband and Paris is killed.
shareThanks for the spoiler! Who am I kidding- I could never get thru the Iliad anyways.
shareYes, a lot of the different versions do have Helen going to her husband but Paris died.
I thought it was rather interesting that in this version Menulaus died and Paris & Helen get out of the city.
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.
I. like a lot of people really did not like that they made it. They needed to be punished somehow. With Menulaus dead, they could have at the very least have Paris killed in front of her and she ends up alone...or enslaved.
shareThe way that Paris had started this, I would have preferred that he bite the bullet (or in this case, or the sword).
Now from what I remember of the original account, Paris and Menulaus were killed, and Helen was claimed by Agamemnon and taken back to Mycenae with him.
