Joyce Dewitt Plays herself..

in this movie which is supposed to take place in the 1980s!!?!? She is looking slightly old (2003) and a much older Janet! They could have at least got someone younger to play the part of Joyce/Janet.

Every time you turn around, expect to see me, 'cause one time you'll turn around and I'll be there.

When it means "herself," it means that she was the host. The person who played Joyce/Janet looked the part during the late 70s/early 80s (sorta kinda).

Joyce DeWitt was the host. DeWitt in the 70s and 80s was played by Melanie Paxson née Moore. Paxson resembled DeWitt and sounded a lot like her. Paxson is probably best known for television commercials for State Farm Insurance, Fiber One, Target, Yoplait, Red Robin, Glad trash bags, Icomfort mattresses, and 1-800-DENTIST.
