I really felt sad that JD died, the crazy bitch killed her own father w/o knowing he was her father and loved her mother so much. I wish the ending showed more like a funeral for him and Diane as well, b/c they were such a big part of Sloan's life; I guess they didn't have enough time to show it though. I just don't understand why the mother didn't let Jay in her life after all she was carrying his baby, it was like the mother was pissed at him (even though he set up a studio for her to sing the song) and he needed the money b/c she was pregnant so Jay sold the song to Sloan. It just left a lot of unanswered questions about that whole Jay scenario; they could've done more w/that. Sloan even told "Jenny" that her mother probably was a better singer but she was scared to show just how good she was..
