Brian Danelly

I just saw the movie. I thought it was a good portrayal of the hypocrisy in the church, which is incidental to imperfect people encompassing the church.

My question was regarding the writer and director, Brian Danelly. Is he a Christian, or did he grow up in Christian circles? I think he got this one right on the money.

When I think of other attempts at portraying the "stereotypical" Christian (eg: Lane on Gilmore Girls, and her mother), I don't feel that they were accurate at all.
