Valentina de Angelis

This remarkable young actress is the best of the many good things about "Off the Map." Anyone know anything about her?

I know her through a friend and as far as I know she's a really nice girl. I've only met her once, though. I'd rather not say anything more on a message board, just know that she's really nice :)

I have a website on her, where you can find everything you possibly wanted to know about Valentina (:

Sentinella, I'd like to find out more about what she's like in person, can I email you?

"Old Bo" ...added nothing to the movie...just narrated it.

Why does everybody say the old Bo was unnecessary? She's narrating the story how does that make her unnecessary? Is everybody affraid she got overpaid or will steal little Bo's thunder? Gees..

I disagree about not needing a narrator. If you leave out the narrator there's going to be stuff we would never find out about. For example that William Gibbs becomes a famous painter and selling the painting(s) gets the family out of financial trouble (that boat Bo bought her daddy wasn't free u know). If you leave out the narrator it's a whole different movie. I'm sure it could have been done without a narrator, but the question is wether it would have been better without or not..

I agree though the coming home on the bus scene wasn't essential, but seing how the narrator is needed I don't think it's a bad thing they put it in...
