I decided to watch this movie after a woman had made reference to it. In fact....alot of females out there always reference the notebook....like the way guys reference ghost busters. So I decided to check it out.

I thought it was going to be mushy and cliche and I was going to be like wow this is so stupid....but its not. I really liked it. You see 'love' go through different stages. Begins with innocent mutual attraction...becomes a whirlwind of intense emotions and passion...becomes forged in marriage and unity...and withers away towards the end.

I'm a guy too and hey, I loved it! Why not? Don't we feel love too? Don't we fall in love head over heels too? I've done it. It's awesome! So???

Glad to hear that. Not a lot of men could sit through a movie about feeling and love.

I hate this movie with a passion. I wanted Noah and Allie to get hit by a bus. Two annoying characters. I don't have a problem watching movies about people falling in love but this was like borderline hallmark mixed with lifetime.

I saw this movie in high school with my long time girlfriend. I loved it then and still love it. That girlfriend became my wife a few years later and we still love going back and watching it every once in a while. A true joy of a film!
