Did you Cry?

I cried abit when he gave up his life for her, it was so sad and sweet at the same time, that he did that for her

Just a few scenes after the movie started, I was crying my eyes out. Yup, from that until the end of the movie.. and after that. xD

Something random: This was one movie that my tough-chick of a best friend cried her eyes out for too... and that's saying something, since she doesn't usually cry over movies.

i cried during the whole movie (when she died onwards) AND i still cry today (i watche dit yesterday) when i think about it.
this movie was so sad.

i bearly watched it for the first time today and omg i was crying so much!!
i think about it and i cry
i dont think he should have died
they both should have lived

yep. I've seen it twice now. And the part I cry at is when her best friend comes into the hospital and Samatha just starts bawling. She's an amazing actress. A lot of actresses can't do the crying half as good as her. I'm a HUGE sarah michelle gellar fan, and even I'll admit that Jeniver Love Hewitt is about 10 times better at crying on screen. I watched it with my parents and my aunt, we were all crying, lol. Especially my dad. hehe

Her crying scenes look so good, but then she's good in Ghost Whisperer too.

I always cry at these kind of romantic films because of my messed up ex marriage. But after I saw this movie today, I was reading an article in Redboook about clueless men, and decided being single wasn't so bad. :-)

This is the only movie I have ever cried at (ever!) and I still can't sit through that scene in the hospital at the end without crying.

I realize that this has been discussed many times on this site already, but someone had to die in the end. It was fate. And it was definitely better that Ian realized his love for Sam and knew what was going to inevitably happen, and that he saved her life. It showed how much he truly and deeply loved her because he was willing to give up his life for her. I cried too, of course I did... but it was fate. It had to happen. But aside from that, this movie was fabulous. I definitely recommend it!

reply

Are you kidding, of course I cried. I was practically bawling my eyes out. Especially when he gave her that speech about how much he loved her. aww. I think I'm about to cry now.

reply

Well a few tears at certain scenes yes, but not crying... emos :p

wow i cried through the whole thing too!! I had to leave the room cuz my mom kept making fun of me!! i completely agree that they both should've lived, it would have made this movie 10 times better to me

reply

By the end, I was crying and sobbing uncontrollably, lol. This movie is so touching, and such a wonderful love story that I defy anyone to watch this and not choke up. If anyone doesn't at the very least "feel" like crying at certain points, theyre heartless!

reply

I certainly did. I watched this movie w/ my husband and a friend of his. I said, ' A person would have to have a heart of stone to not shed some tears at some time in this movie.' The friend agreed, but i think he did remain dry-eyed. Great movie.

reply

let me put this way...i wasted more money on the tissues than on the movie...

of course I did. I started crying when he kissed her in the cab and had shortness of breath afterwards, it was like he knew he was going to go instead of her this time. And when she was lamenting in the hospital, it was just water works from there on.
