Wasting (Pretty) Time or that song in the car the kids are listening to.

okay... Let me start by saying this is the first thread I have made on IMDB in like 4 Years... but there is a reason for making this.
4 Years ago I posted a help thread long since deleted, I found out the name of the song, but the best I ever got was an answers.com answer saying we don't have a shot in hell. So I figure what the hell, its been a few years... does anyone have any leads... is there a longer version... I don't know why. I just really really liked it.

Any luck yet? I was hoping someone here would have an answer for you by now. I tried doing searches using any words I could make out from the song, but with no luck. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Alas no... It would seem that this is the only song in the world that is impossible to find.

It's kinda surprising really.

I don't know whats worse the song is not available anywhere in the world or the face that I have searched for this impossible song for the last 5 years.

Okay, somehow I stumbled upon this at soundtrackinfo.com (and forgive me if I'm posting something you've already seen or if you're one of the people on that page who is asking about this song..lol)

A: The credits list the song as "Wasting Pretty Time" by Union Labor, which is a fake band name made up for the movie.

A: This song is called "Wasting (Pretty) Time" by The Labor Union. The singer is Inara George, and the track was recorded especially for the movie.

...So apparently the song is by Inara George. Right now I'm listening to some of her work on youtube and it's pretty good! I haven't found this song (Wasting Pretty Time) from Fever Pitch and so far it does seem that it may not exist other than in the movie.

Unfortunately yes I have found this website, in fact it was one of the only ones that ever really gave me an answer for the question of why I can't find this song. It's a shame they didn't put it on the soundtrack or anything like that.
