Plot holes (ending)

I love this movie for the most part but the ending always annoys me, there seems to be a couple of large plot holes

1; After Sharp hands over the money why did the bad guy get on the bus, he must have had a vehicle, surely he didn't take his hostage there on public transport

2; how could the girls know in advance that he was going to take the bus

plot holes in comedies such as this don't usually bother me but these were just too big to ignore

The bus wouldn't be searched as well as a car maybe because of the number of people the border control could just want to get the bus through as quickly as they can.... also the girls got there way before Sharpe did because he had to go and collect the money they head straight for the border, so they probably watched him buy the bus tickets.

The girls were listening on the cam that was downstairs watch it again and you will notice it
