Frank did not have time

Loved this movie, my only problem was that Frank had too much to do and too little time.
After he watches Cheri drive off in the Honda he walks by the TV and turns it off then we get a close up of a clock that says 11:04 (10 minutes before he throws the body off the bridge).
This means he takes the dog out, finds the body, pulls off the stone head, buries the head, fetches Aarons car, gets the body, drives to the bridge and throws it over all in 10 minutes time. In real time it took 9 minutes and they skipped a whole lot.
Only if the clock in his livingroom wasn't accurate this could've happened.

I noticed the same thing, the film makers didn't even try to cover their tracks on that one.

That's interesting. I felt the same way about Cheri's portion of the film. It just seemed like a little too much.

Well, i didn´t sit with a stopwatch in front of the dvd-player, but the time construction seemed to me inconsequent. As you mentionend Frank couldn´t handle all that stuff in 10 minutes. But, anyway, cool nearly brilliant movie

reply

probably not the most realistic part, as was Cheri's (Aaron's death, and then 14 minutes to get the bowling ball, go back to the church,, go back to where her car broke down, and then get hit by the car)

but cmon
not everything is completely accurate in a movie =]

I felt the same thing, but still liked it. Not perfect but a really cool movie.

reply

Yeah, the only way you can justify it is that the clocks were not synchronized.
