Just out of curiosity, and maybe I am remembering this wrong, but didnt Patrick Swayze's character see the bowling ball as he was picking up the body out of the cemetary? But when we see Cheri's story, she doesn't drop the bowling ball until after she comes back to find the body gone... Am I remembering this right, or did I see the bowling ball in the cemetary at some other point?

Frank didn't see the bowling ball. Cheri dropped it afterwards when she went back and found that Aaron's body was missing. The bowling ball was seen during the beginning (Jack trips over it while running through the cemetary, which causes Officer Hannagan to catch up and arrest him).
