Similarity to the Simpsons?

Don't get me wrong, I thought the movie was fantastic. However, has anyone else noticed the similarity to Season 12 Episode 18 of The Simpsons, "Trilogy of Error"? An episode with three intertwining stories and the events that tie them together, exactly as with 11:14. One of the stories is even about Homer getting his thumb cut off and having to rush to get it reattached!

You'd think that The Simpsons just spoofed the movie, but the Simpsons episode was made in 2001, while 11:14 was made in 2003!

Who's spoofing who? :)

im not going to go into how weird it is you know the exact episode and season of the Simpsons lol when theres so many of em..

but lol 11:14 isnt the first movie to have three or more intertwining stories in it. if credit is due anywhere its probably too quintin tarentino for making pulp fiction, but he could of even took the idea from some other film maker so who knows.. but the whole intertwinning out of order stories thing is almost getting toooo popular in movies these days in my opinion.. though i really liked 11:14.

I think the episode your talking about is actually a parody of run lola run. Aside from all the running that all the characters are doing it also uses the same music.

Well Simpson's wasn't the only thing to have every told a story from multiple perspectives happening at the same time

haven't you seen "Simpson's did it First" on South Park?
