Why was Buzzy arrested ?

I don't understand why they arrested Hillary Swank's charecter. They didn't really show the quick conversation she had w/ the cop as she was stepping out of the ambulance.

I'm guessing the conversation must have been this :

cop : "Is this the guy who robbed the store & shot you in the arm ?"
Buzzy : "Yeah"
cop : "Doesn't he work at that store also ?"
Buzzy : "Yeah"
cop : "You're under arrest."

It must have been something similar to that because it was only about a 20 second conversation. I don't understand how the cop had enough reason to assume she was actually part of the crime.

Officer Hannagan asked Buzzy to step out of the ambulance and to possibly identify Duffy as the robber. When she wouldn't, Hannagan flat out said "you were in on it, weren't you?", and she confessed. That's why he arrested her.

Yeah, uh, watch that scene again, would you. She confessed to her crime. That's why she's arrested..

Remember, she hasn't been convicted of anything. It would make sense in this situation to at least detain her, interrogate her, and figure out what's going on.

Buzzy warned Duffy that she was a terrible liar.

Remember that Cheri had already called the police and identified the suspect as someone wearing a black t-shirt and green pants. If Buzzy described the suspect any differently, that would be suspicious.

But the real reason is that at the ambulance, she said she would not identify the suspect. Then the officer asks if they were both in on it, and she replies "yes." She is a terrible liar.
