I DEMAND SEASON 3 and continuation!!!!!

Such a beautiful remake of the legendary cartoon series of the 80s, HE MAN & the MOTU, i would go as far as to say even better than the 80s series. Only letdown is that they made this series short lived up to episode 39 which means its an unfinished series:( it makes me unhappy...I know nothing has been done since the end of the show in 2004 but as a fan i really want the companies/officials to continue the series of He-man & the MOTU thus making SEASON 3 and SEASON 4 and continue on even if its been 6 or 7 years!!!!I LOVED THIS SERIES OF HE-MAN! i really wanna see more...i m sure u all as fans want it too! SO plz do something and DEMAND HE-MAN & the MOTU SEASON 3 and more!!!!!!!!!!!

Think fans tried already and that method of asking the studio for a continuation failed!

I hope this new Thundercats series doesn't suffer what the Masters/He-Man revival series did, otherwise it's going to be the shape of things to come for that series too!

well that sucks...but still there has to be some way of getting the series back on track! i mean the way it ended was not complete! they have to finish the series somehow with more storyline and episodes! so what exactly happen after episode 39...why didnt they continue it? wasnt there enough demand? or enough fans?

yea the thundercats is awesome...

reply

I would kill for a continuation of some sort, but alas, I think the opportunity has passed us by. :( It's really frustrating because there are all these destinies in the MOTU that never get to finish or play out.

Like turbo, I hope the Thundercats remake doesn't suffer the same fate.

thik the reason this one died is mainly because the fan base just was not strong enough to support it. The He-man fad was in the 80's and that's why the original done a lot better episode wise.I too would like to see a third season but i'm, afraid that doesn't look likely in the near future.

reply

Nope, it really died cos the studio bigwigs and Mattel are complete idiots!

Mattel's stupidity got the series cancelled cos the toys weren't selling. Yes i know the show on the networks was bounced around perhaps too much in North America, and cos the show was cancelled so was the comic book series, which was even slightly 'darker' than the animated series that was on TV to boot.

It kills me hearing The Horde were coming for Season 3 to be the main villains, who would've been so powerful that they made 'The Masters' fugitives in their own world of Eternia! And that it would've been Skeletor to not only defeated King Hsss but also Hordak towards the end of the series.

She-Ra would've also been re-introduced in season 3 too.

Hell season 2 still had 13 episodes to go still, where they say Skeletor would've overthrown Randor and taken the throne by season 2 's end.

I used to watch He-Man and the MOTU back when i was a kid in the 80's, me and my brother have been fans ever since.

Even though i didn't like the live action movie and the second animated series that they aired after the original cartoon, i have just started watching this online lately and so far, i am starting to like and enjoy it. I am watching the "Sky War" episode right now.

Hell, Prince Adam/He-Man is voiced by none other than Cam Clarke a.k.a Liquid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. What could be more awesome than that!.

I have been reading that this show only lasted 2 seasons, so that must mean that the last episode of season 2 will end with a cliffhanger that so far, has not been resolved.

If this is the case, then they should make more episodes, because this show is getting cooler with every episode and i can't wait to see Season 2.

OMG what could have been.
That had the potential to be the best series ever.
I want to cry now.

King Hiss is broken out of his containment cell by Skeletor's Warriors and the thrown into a dungeon where the darkness restores his main head, he fights Skeletor in Snake Mountain, beats Skeletor, captures MAA, a piece of the serpents ring survived being destroyed, Hiss uses it on MAA and turns him into a SnakeMan.

The End.

reply

The End exactly. It would've been good enough to see the rest of season 2 and 3 as comic books if not cartoon, they should have at least done that.

The 2000s saw great reboots of both He-Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both snuffed out by dumb toy compaines over toy sales rather than ratings. Albeit, TMNT went to season 5 atleast (FF and BttS don't count.)
