Mizuki (Level C - A VERY guilible uke who lets strangers in his home and allows them to have their way with him.)
Tsuzuki (Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness - I don't care what anyone says. Tsuzuki is so uke it hurts... even to Hisoka.)
Mira (Papa to KISS IN THE DARK - C'mon... this boy practically thinks he's really a girl. I'm not kidding!)
Sunao/Ran/Nanami/Ichikawa (Sukisyo/Sukisho - All four of them were pretty much girls in INCREDIBLY FEMININE boy's bodies.)
Sono (Sensitive Pornograph - Was pretty much a laid-back liquor woman, only missing the breasts.)

okay, Gravitation broke the mode for the standard Uke/Seme relationships. But by definition Shuichi is the Uke and Yuki is the Seme. Uke means, relatively, the submissive one, the cuddly/adorable one, or to put it in terms the 'common folk' can understand, the 'girl'in a relationship. Seme basically means the opposite of Uke. Your actual gender plays no role on in you being Uke or Seme. Now in most Uke/Seme relationship cases, it is the Seme that chases the Uke, the more experianced person chasing after the less experianced naive one. What sets Gravitation apart is that Shuichi, the worlds new favorite Uke, is the one chasing Yuki. Yuki is distant, cold, mean, sexy, mysterious, dominant and appears, for the most part, uncaring. All of those qualities are found in many a Seme and if there were a book on it, you'd see just about every one of those listed under Seme. Experiance is probably one of the defining qualities that lets us know that Yuki is the Seme, also common in Uke/Seme relationships is that the Seme is often older; but more commonly its the experiance or boldness in the bedroom labeling you. In some cases the roles even switch behind closed doors. Not the case in Gravitation. Shuichi, to the classic sterio type, is always on the bottom.

Well, there was at least one doujinshi where Shuichi did top. To be honest, Shuichi is one of the ukes I don't like very much. The type that literally has no right to call himself a guy.

There are the dominant ukes out there too. Emotionless, can freeze water with a glare, but choose to be on the bottom. They're a very rare breed.

Oh, I know there are, and I'm glad the sterotype is being switched around. Like how ukes are starting to be taller or older than their semes, or how switching is now involved. I like the different new varieties appearing in BL manga/anime.
Shuichi I liked in the beginning because his story was my first BL anime I got into. But nowadays, I'm not too fond of him because he's just TOO girly, annoying, and obsessive for my taste.
