You ask yourself, "Did I fall alseep during the movie and miss the plot and action?"
Then you ask yourself, "Why did an actor of Tom Sizemore's talent and success do such a stupid movie?"
Then you'll ask yourself, "Why the hell did I watch this movie?"

That's the movie in a nutshell.

Accurate, extremely accurate.

You forgot to mention that there may or may not have been a neighbor who may or may not have been a rapist. Stupid movie.

if u morons cant use your brain to understand a psychological thriller now thats my sipnosis on u haters. This movie is one of those psychological thrillers that u have to think very well to figure out whats happening and is not that hard to follow it.

I totally agree with emman303. I followed the movie very well. There were parts in the movie that helped you understand, but what you end up understanding isn't really what it is. When you think about it, why would the writer put everything out at the beginning of the movie? Then it would not make it suspenseful or thrilling. Some movies are made to confuse you and make you think, but that doesn't make it a bad movie.

I agree with you josie. It was a psychological thriller that made the viewer think and put the pieces together himself. It was VERY easy to follow, I was never confused, and the facts presented themselves clearly, one by one.....I had no trouble following this movie and I really enjoyed it a lot. How could anyone not have figured out that the grandfather molested Wendy? They showed it to us several times. Pierce was Karen's manifestation of the memories that she supressed and it took the "grown up" ghost of her dead sister to bring those memories back so that Wendu could rest in peace. (kinda like "An American Haunting", when we find out the ghost is actually Betsy herself, but younger, making the older Betsy remember that her father, Donald Sutherland, had molested her....oops! sorry, didnt mean to spoil THAT movie! LOL)
