Snakes in the House was so hilarious.

I just watched "Cold Creek Manor" for the first time. Overall I would give it about a 5 out 10 score. The concept is good, but the execution is not. To me, the movie was fine up until the scene where "Dale" was fired or quit (Not Sure). After that it just got silly and predictable.
My favorite scene in the movie is the Snakes in the House scene, not because it was thrilling or well done but because I laughed so hard during the whole thing. The reactions, the family retreating in terror, and the screams were so over the top. I especially laughed when Sharon Stone threw back the blanket and let out a blood curdling scream at the sight of the tiny snake on her bed. Also the look on Dennis Quaid's face when the snake fell on him from the ceiling was priceless!!

Dale was fired, he told Cooper it was more manly to be done to his face so prolly Cooper told someone to tell him he is fired
there is a quite a lot of issues with this movie beside the snakes scene, nothing was said abt the car accident that got Dale into prison
the cheating of Leah or her accepting to sleep with Dave Miller on the plane had no purpose in the movie
Ruby putting a rose on Dale's grave despite what he did to her sister
they didn't tell us whether the sister made it or died, the Sherrif

I thought that particular scene was just as bad as the rest of the movie (I LOVE Dennis Quaid movies but I just couldn't rate it higher than 3) but my wife literally broke into hysterical laughter during that scene. She thought it was one of the funniest "horror" scenes she's seen in years.
What a shame such great actors got inVolved in such a poor movie.
