It been a long wait, the release date has been moved several times but, does anyone know when this film is finally being released? Are there any festivals out there that are booked to premier it?
It will be interesting to see the finished product. The trailers were done about 2 years ago weren't they - I'm sure a lot of new (and hopefully better) footage has been shot since then. It has been a very long project, so hopefully there will be something decent at the end of it.
This movie seems to be the most expensive *beep* movie ever... the trailers looks like my little sister have made them.... the fighting in the trailers are made of some people who have never fighted before... it really looks dreadful, awful ... u name it
Hey kung fu 1, one rates a movie by the quality of its trailer. Having watched the trailer for F.I.S.T aka Intergalactic combat....I can safely conclude that it is *beep* aka rubbish!
Hey that makes twenty slagging off posts for this film from "dred1981" and counting(no offense dred, sorry couldnt resist) . Since the promo trailer was posted for this film shortly after production begun and they've been filmin for two years since I guess we've only seen the tip of the berg but I can see why the dred is frustrated it's been a long old wait, but I make my mind up when I see the trail r for the finished film (think they jumped the gun in posting one before they ended filmin), if they ever get around two posting it. Saw Brady in London talking about IC on Thurs 13 May. He didn't screen the film but instead showed bits of the film and a trailer and then talked for about ten mins after but sadly mostly about new tax credit. It was hard to hear but I'm pretty shure he said he was taking it down to the Cannes film festival, but I just looked and it ain't listed anywhere? Wanted to talk to him but he was mobed all night.
Hehe, my best friend actually extraed in this film, and that was in one of the last scenes where the twins apparently fight each other, and one of them had a bandaged hand from his injury. That was in...2002. And it still has not come out!
Its being shown in an almost completed form this weekend (26th Nov) at the Bloodbath Horror Festival in Bristol at the Cube cinema. I know its not horror, but its more of an action/fantasy/horror weekend, and Ray is bringing his first film, Boy Meets Girl, which is more horror orientated.
Can't wait to see how the film turned out, I worked on some segments of it as a camera op and assembly editor. From what I've seen it should be fun, but I am a martial arts movie junkie!
Doh! Read the credits it's not made by the same people, it has though some of the same UK talent in it, not surpring since it's a specialist group and it's a small industry. J
