I first stumbled upon this title while reading about Gordon Alexander who was in "The Purifiers," the British version of the US cult classic film "The Warriors."

Judging from the poster, I think this flick is what appears to be a mix of well-known fighting games like "Street Fighter," "Tekken," and "King of Fighters" with martial arts animes like "Fist of the North Star" and sci-fi films like "Independence Day."
