Total ripoff of Alai Payuthey
All the songs (except for Alai Payuthey), the similar storyline, etc. It was well done though, I must say. But it was a total ripoff of the Mani Ratnam classic.

It was supposed to be a remake. Shaad Ali assisted Mani Ratnam in the Tamil original and that's why he directed the remake with Mani's permission.
