Whats with that crash scene?

hmm.....what did happen there..she got hit by some sort of a mutated bus or van, and then went flying like a rocket to the other car. So the girl who was driving the car blamed herself and it wasn't even her fault lol.

anyway Im just confused about that:p
Other than that certain scene I loved the movie!!!!! it was so nice and sweet and a little soppy but it was all gud!

I so didn't see that scene coming, actually, so I guess it wasn't that bad...but still, yeah, it makes very little sense. Still, I maintain that Saathiya is the best movie ever.

Even named my blog pseudonym after it...

I love this movie as well & I so didn't exspect that whole car accident scene...

*SPOILER ALERT!!!*

Did anyone else find Tabu & Srk special appearance random or was it just me??

Actually, ANYTIME you leave the scene of the accident you are criminally liable. It is natural for her to feel guilt, even though she may not really have been at fault (before leaving the scene of the incident that is). The scene didn't bother me at all. I thought it was very effective.

Yes, that scene scared the hell out of me the first time that I saw the movie. I still went ahead and purchased the movie but everytime I watch Saathiya, I always have to walk out of the room or skip it. Oh GOD, it seems so real. . .I am sure some computerization was involved in creating that scene.

Is it me or does Mani Ratnam always make films that has these frightening (unexpected) scenes? Dil Se is another one, watching two people blow themselves to pieces at the end of the film. . .usually I have to scan his films before watching b/c I hate those types of scenes. I still haven't watched Guru yet. So if there is some type of frightening, unexpected scene in that film. . .then I don't care about the *spoiler*, just tell me what is going to happen so that I don' have to be surprised/scared.

Yes there were computer graphics involved in creating that scene. It did seem a little unrealistic though. A person does not fly like a skittle when hit by a vehicle. A stunt double would have been appropriate.
