Innapropriate?

I was wondering how much innapropriate material was in this since it had a parental advisory.

reply

A good bit. It was done live.

There are plenty of sexual references and swearing, especially the f-word.

reply

Yeah, lotsa uses of the F-Word...Robin Williams doing a Joe Pesci imitation. But a great show nonetheless.

reply

Don't let kids under the age of 17 or 18 who are free to swear. This is dirtier than any of his other stuff. It's not appropriate for children, extremely vulgar. Great for adults though! I highly recommend it after the kids are in bed.

reply

Hey I was 16 when I first saw it and my parents were right there yukking it up with me, so don't you dare say no one under 17 can't watch it!

I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person!

reply

Well,

There are mature 15/16 year olds, but for the most part, it probably isn't suitable for kids under 16

reply

Put it this way, if you're a Bush-whacker, a Republican, a devout Christian w/little kids under the age of becoming a legal adult you shouldn't watch. This is Liberal comedy now F#ck off and go join the Amish!

reply

Exactly!!! Come on people!! It's the 21st century! 10 year old kids already use the F word! Times have changed! Take off the broomstick you got up your a$$!!

I was 14 when i watched it....i love robin williams...hes like bob saget....he can do kid stuff then adult stuff...hes awesome

reply

Um, dude, it IS inappropriate for kids under 16!!! I'm sorry but 10 year olds SHOULDN'T be using the F-word. And find me a good number of 13 year olds who would understand the joke he does with his arm at the very end!!! Find me adults who actually could sit through that whole ending without grimacing at one point. The whole audience hit a silent note at one point in shock!

Nevertheless, it's really funny. But NOT right for anyone under 17, unless the 16 year old is the most mature teen you have ever met and will appreciate it for its irony, wit, and will laugh at the dirty jokes but not think they're something to repeate to friends or make a public display of.

reply

i agree with the other dude. times have changed. im 15 and i have been called a sailor's son. i know every joke on this film. its not my parents fault cause they know that i curse and i know its wrong but i still do it. it might not be right but its funny. and that's all that matters.

reply

I can relate to that. I"m 34 now, but my parents were never strict as far as what I could watch or listen to. Parents know their own children better than the damn ratings board do. I remember watching The Exorcist when I was around 8 years of age...and I grew up with no mental defects whatsoever...imagine that!

Ratings on anything is *beep* Its basically a guideline for parents too stupid to know what the content of this stuff is beforehand. If you're worried about what your kids watch, and you see a movie titled "Blood Soaked Nuns From Hell", chances are...that won't be a safe movie for your kids to watch. Prior to getting the ratings board opinion. Its called common sense.

It depends on what you mean by inapropriate. He does say the F word alot and other swear words, and there are some other language that would probably not be apropriate for someone that is really young, but other than that it is not to bad.

reply

I'm 14 and a republican and I still found it funny. I don't think even Bush himself wouldn't find this not funny!

reply

(Laughing) The whole thing is unsuitable for children! If you are concerned about a parental advisory, then you probably won't want your kids watching this! He uses an extraordinarily large amount of profanity! He makes many sexual jokes, including some hand and body movement to further explain his joke. He also takes a crack at drugs, including Keith Richards, marijuana, and other drugs (Yes. I included Keith as a drug. You might as well). If you are judging his jokes based on Disney's Aladdin, then forget about it, because this ain't it!

Man, people need to lighten up, I've been watching this since I was 15 and my brother has been watching it since he was 13 and neither of us have any problems, we're 18 and 16 now and we don't even curse at all!

And Robin kissed his mother with that mouth?
