Wow, they ripped off the spying on the neighbors bit straight from Hitchcock's "Rear Window". They even put the guy in the same blue pajamas and the girl going over to check things out while talking to him and then the screaming. I bet one of those things is buried in the garden too. Un-original *beep* New Hollywood's sooo pathetic and out of ideas completely. Enjoy.

Good luck trying to find a truly original film. All films 'rip-off' as you say other films.
shareI wouldn't call it a rip-off but it is certainly heavily influenced by Rear Window, which I don't see much wrong with. If you're gonna be influenced by a film, that's certainly one of the better ones to be influenced by! This movie takes a similar theme and twists it slightly, so there are original elements.

There's a difference between homage and rip-off. Learn it.
