Ally Sheedy deserved an academy award for her performance in this

Her performance in this is so underrated, i just caught this on Pluto after many years after seeing it, and i forgot just how damn good Ally Sheedy was in this.

She legit looks and acts like a mother that just lost her child, its almost hard to watch cause you feel like you are seeing a woman who actually had her child killed, the emotion and the way she delivers her lines is so damn phenomenal.

And this had to be a really hard and exhausting role, cause just every scene shes gotta be tired and crying and showing the devastation of losing her daughter and then having her son being accused of doing it. Its a shame this wasn't a bigger movie, she deserved a ton of recognition for her performance in this.
