Angry.

I don't know if its just me.
I can't even watch the movie without wanting to yell at the screen and tell the police to leave the family alone. It makes me sick.
Its utterly ridiculous, how they treated them.

Ditto.

I just saw this movie tonight for the first time. I can't even put into
words how outrages those pigs behavior was.

That's the kinda of crap that goes on all the time. At least in this instance they caught it on vid and were able to save these kids.

Cops think they are above the law.

I'm in Las Vegas. Around two years ago a state trooper murdered(imo) four people as they drove down I-15. He was driving behind this car with his lights off. His speed when he hit the car from behind was 115 mph and was not on a call. I can't recall his *beep* excuse. He got off very light. If that had been a non cop
that hit that car I would say the DA would've hung him or her out to dry.

I saw it yesterday for the first time too, I missed the first half of it though but started watching it just when the cops were twisting everything around for the boy. It really was sad and it made me angry that they allow this to happen.

Sadly it was very real. It was heartbreaking to watch. The police terrorized a little boy---because that is what Michael and his friends were at the time into confessing into something they didn't do because the police were to lazy to admit they were wrong and look at where the evidence truly pointed. I am glad Michael's story was told. It's important, imo for people to know what he had to go through.

I'm not too sure. They should be in jail because they terrorized poor Michael and his friends.

Police videos can be edited. Early this year, the 5 police officers were fired for editing a video that show them beating up an Afro-American. That edited version was brought as evidence in court. The judge decided that he wanted to look at the ORIGNIAL video and ordered it to be brought to him. When the judge saw the orignial video and compare it to the edited version, he was stunned because the orginal one showed the beating of the Afro-American. The end result was that the five cops were kicked off the force. It reminded me of the Star Trek espisode where Captain Kirk was court-martialed for causing the death of his records officer. The prosecutor relied on computer video as the main evidence against Captain Kirk. Later in the trial, Mr. Spock discovered proof that the computer vidoe had been manipulated by the supposely decease records officer.
