Bette's character

I have been watching this on netflix and enjoyed the first couple of seasons, but I have to say, seasons 3 and now 4, not so good.

I especially have a huge problem with Bette or her characterization. How does she get to "win" in these seasons? I mean, she cheats on Tina, kidnaps their baby, and yet still, somehow, manages to be remain a part of the kid's life - unsupervised, treat Tina poorly, and score Marlee Matlin?!? WTF?!

I had to stop watching. It's plain, old-fashioned BS.

Not to mention how somebody who is supposed to be very intelligent and OCD about parenting can't seem to figure out how to work an electronic child thermometer.
