How high were kids in the 1970s...

that they couldn't see through this man's *beep*

obviously this movie embellishes gacy's story quite heavily, but solely within the context of the film... i could not believe how idiotic these people were. "Oh that's just the sound of maggots writhing in my crawl space... go to sleep!" What the *beep*?

Can anyone tell me if gacy was anywhere near as conspicious in real life as he is portrayed in this movie? If so... well its almost enough to reverse my feelings on ending marijuana prohibition.

You're really blaming marijuana for the deaths of 33 young men and boys? That's inappropriate, yo.

People were a lot more trusting back then. You have to remember Gacy had some clout. He was a successful KFC manager and had a decent house. (For that time period) His Costume parties were popular. He rubbed elbows with some important people. Basically he was a master manipulator. That's how he was able to fool everyone.

He murdered KIDS! Most of his victims were young boys who did not seem him coming. He would pretend to be a police officer and get them to get inside his car, etc... they weren't stupid just innocent. He was sadistic and cruel. He tortured them first and some were even buried alive. How would you feel if one of them was your son.

It also seemed odd to me. He was always surrounded by guys, many of those just got missing, 2 of them were rly scared and suspissious of him.

There were many odd or suspitious things and his excuses were really bad and not believing.

No way he could have killed and hidden 30 corpses in his house without being caught earlier, if things happened that way.

Gacy owned a construction company, and some of his victims had worked for him, or were lured with promises of his jobs. Some of the boys and young men were forcibly abducted; he posed as a police officer and often seized his prey from the streets. He was a predator; he knew how to turn it on and turn it off, so to speak. He was not particularly frightening or intimidating on the surface until he got his victims alone.
