What's with the sheep?

Even though it'll probably be like a year before anyone runs across this post, I have a question.

What do the sheep actually do in the movie? Do they eat people, wreck stuff up, attack other critters, or just look at the screen with orange eyes?

To tell you the truth, I saw this movie in blockbuster and couldn't get it out of my mind. Infact I had a dream about being trapped as a farmhand/slave on a mountain farm and working for an evil inbred hick-woman by caring for her demonic pet sheep that was trying to kill me. The only way to kill the sheep was to chant all the divisibles of the number 666 (big coincidence) until I passed the 0 mark. Then the sheep blew up and spilt in half and blood was everywhere. The old lady came looking for me, so I grabbed the gun we butchered the animals with (an old blackpowder flintlock musket) and shot the old woman. Then I ran away with the other farm hands.

Bizarre as heck. And the movie looks to be about the same. Probably PETA's effort to get their ridiculous trash out on DVD. But anyway, any spoilers would be great.

Umm....thts a pleasant dream.... *sarcasm*

The sheep just go kinda insane because they ate the genetically manipulated corn and it kinda screwed with them... I didnt really like this movie cuz I was so bored at some parts so I couldnt really tell ya EXACTLY

The sheep get a bit aggressive, and kind of attack a little girl who gets rescued with no damage. But the problem was that eating their meat causes people damage - I think it was mainly miscarriages, or maybe birth defects in babies. But the storyline is more about genetically engineered grain trial in a field next to the sheep damages the sheep, and grain developer company tries to hide it, and pregnant college girl Jena figures out the problem and goes after the grain company, sort of Erin Brockovich-style. But your dream sounds like a better movie script. I think I'd pay for a recording of that chant.

I used to work with sheep and, they don't have to be phsyco to attack children. That's just how they play, by butting heads.

I'm about to watch the movie. I hope it's not as bad as some have said.

I am about to watch it also. I hope it isn't cheesy.

I was at Family Video (we don't have a BlockBuster... in fact I have never even seen a BlockBuster store) and this movie caught my eye for some odd reason. I read the back and it sounded... different. Then, I came home and went to IMDb and have learned that is sucks. Hopefully I didn't waste $2.10.

the sheep get addicted to a weed that is the result of natural weeds cross that had pollinated with the nearby GMO corn. This hybrid weed was addictive to sheep and they are shown to attack their own kid in order to get to it. I think their addiction made them act erratically, but did not drive them insane per se.
