Blockbuster actually refunded us for this movie...

it was so bad that we went straight back to blockbuster after watching this "no ending and pointless" movie and demanded a refund...and they gave us one! kudos to blockbuster

i work at blockbuster, i do that often. except we usually just give them a credit. i had to do that a lot with the movie open water.

I thought Open Water was pretty cool. Very unique.

i guess it just does have enough explosions for some people.

reply

i thought open water was terrible. but i thought corn was incredibly funny.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's not like food, where the store is responsible for the quality of the product. Blockbuster has no bearing over the quality of the films that they carry; the individual is responsible for his/her own decision in renting a title. If a video store refunded rentals for every crappy movie, they'd be in debt for billions of dollars.

I second derek's take!

reply

I third it!

Besides, unscrupulous people could take any movie back and say it was horrible.
" Yeah...I rented this movie called Citizen Kane. What a piece of crap!!! Give me my money back."

reply

I Quadratic Equation it!

"Great, just jump all over me, why don't you?
What about the nine kids I DIDN'T lose this week?"

reply

I make babies with it.

On content, I agree, as that is a subjective evaluation, but the transfer on the DVD is far below par, a justifiable objective complaint.

Yeah I work at Blockbuster and it's hard not to give a refund or a credit sometimes when a person comes up very mad and angry about a movie (that I had no part in making)....

My store just stopped giving credits for that issue but we did start warning people...

"Hey guys this movie SUCKS... You might not want to rent it..."

"Naw I'll take a chance with Naked Fear..."

haha okay.... I tried

reply

My cousin did this at a KFC one time. They walked off with their refund but were told to never go back to the place again.

reply

I also tried to get a refund for this movie at KFC, but they politely refused.

reply

I tried the same, but sheepishly chickened out. It was a corny idea inspired by bad weed.
