I have not seen this movie, but I've seen the sequal, The Christmas Blessing. What year does this movie take place in if Nathan is all grown up in The Christmas Blessing??

Well, Maggie's tombstone says she died in 1985, which was 15 years ago according to the narration. So, 2000 would probably be the year.
