Worst Movie of All Time?
I think it is fair to say that this is hands down absolutly the worst movie ever made. It is not funny at all and I think it is completly overrated.

I would suppose an idiot who likes this movie would quote (and I know it is supposed to be funny) the dumbest redneck on the planet. I think this movie stinks pure and simple. I saw a shirt the other day that sums it up for me, it had all four guys from the show sitting on stools, it was cartoons of them, and they all were saying their one famous line. To me, thats they have and it is wore out to the core. This hasn't a shred of humor in it that appeals to anyone above the lowest common denominator.

I don't care that you don't like the movie, what I do care about is that you are insulting and putting down the fans of this movie. How can anyone go so low as to say such nasty things? On a school trip to an FFA convention in Kentucky, there was about 30-40 people aboard the charter bus. I brought this movie along to watch. We watched such comedy classics on the trip as Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore, Dumb and Dumber. They all got laughs but they didn't get 5% of the laughs combined than did Blue Collar Comedy Tour, I even got thanked by everyone on the bus for bringing it. Would you insult all of THEM, calling them stupid? Just because they seem to have less money than you, you don't need to be so rude to them. If you want to say anything furthermore that would insult us, I suggest you take your rude comments elsewhere. Go to a doctor and get treated or something. To say it wasn't funny is fine by me, to call us stupid rednecks and to say that the comedians should be shot, that is unacceptable and should not be tolerated on this site.

Okay, armypunk, you don't like this movie. But on it's own, okay, whatever. It's funny to me, but humor is subjective, so I'm not gonna insult you. But, I've also seen you on NASCAR boards, trashing it for being 'redneck'. So here's my problem: you are either very mean, and just want to get a reaction, or you're generally prejudiced against the South. And both those types of people annoy me.
If you're just mean: I wish you'd stop, I truly do. It's like, dude, get a Xanga, name it "ReDnEcKsArEdUmB", write about how stupid and moronic and crass we are. You'll probably get a cute little following of same-minded people, and you can all IM eachother about how dumb all Southerners are. I assume it would be very fun for you.
If you generally hate the South: What the heck, man? Here, in Tennessee, we DON'T hate Northerners. And I'm sure all Northerners don't hate Southerners. I will admit, as a small child, we moved to Michigan, and I was very publically mocked for my twang and sothern-words --"y'all", "ahnry ( as opposed to ornery)", "'bout nearly scared me to death"-- but I harbor no ill will. It was kids being kids, and I wasn't exiled or anything. However, someone has obviously instilled you with anger towards the South. So, might I ask: What do you truly dislike about us? 'Rednecks', as you call us, what perturbes you? I will say, here, when we say 'redneck', it's rarely an insult, because we've fully embraced hwere we come from. Just the other day, for example, I bought a book on collectible shotglasses. Upon being called a redneck, it became a friendly game of who was the biggest redneck ( I didn't win, a friend did ). So, you've made redneck derogitory.
So you obviously hate us for more reasons than one. That's pretty sad, but if you'd like to make a list, it might be incredibly interesting, just to see a glimpse of your obvious issues.

The best man won? The murderer who is responsible for the death of nearly 2,000 soldiers? Yeah he is a murderer because he took this country to war on a lie. That makes him a murderer in by book, same as if you sold alcohol to a minor and they killed someone driving. It's called negligence and our "leader" is full of it. And before you get all dumb redneck on me, I served in Iraq for a year and I have seen it for real not this "everything is going good" T.V. war. And guess what else? I am not a liberal, but I do believe in higher education, which these "comedians" obviously do not have. They are funny to you because you are the lowest common denominator and you are the kind of person they want laughing at their stupid jokes.
shareI agree on the bush aspect in your writing but as far as this movie and these stand ups, i dont understand your anger. Is it wrong to laugh these days? and is it only ok to laugh at one kind of humor? Must it be sofisticated and upper class? Why do you have a problem with people who enjoys this? If you dont like it its no problem for me, but dont sit there and judge and point fingers.. let people laugh and have fun, this world could use a good laugh days like these.

I bet that if I ran into you on the street, you wouldn't so much as smile. If I ran into larry the cable guy or Jeff Foxworthy even- they'd at least be friendly. That's just the vibe you put off-- I hate that for you really.
Anyway, this board isn't for talking about things other than a movie... so armypunk35, why don't you just not come back anymore because all you do is start crap.
My biggest problem is that these boards are for people to say what they feel. If you can ramble on and praise this crappy movie, than I have every right to tell you I think it sucks. Contrary to what you may believe, I have very valid reasons for hating this movie. For one, all the comedians base their jokes off of their famous "one-liners" (Git-r-done, You Might Be a Redneck..., etc.). I mean how much juice can you get out of these tired jokes? I'll tell you, I am from Oklahoma, and not nearly as many rednecks act this stupid, but a lot do. I have to deal with them every day and I hate it. I am not racist or anything like that, but I do have a problem with people with a lack of simple common sense. Even if you have been on the farm and not in touch with society, it still does not justify a lack of common sense. It is simple. So, when I see this movie I see it as a movie where a bunch of rednecks with no common sense latch on to one-liners and think it is funny. I personally think being stupid is not very funny. I have every right to hate this movie and every right to say so. You may think it is funny, but again as I have said before, you are the lowest common denominator they are trying to please.
Oh, and siegr, don't pretend to know me and know how I am in real life. Just because I hate a crappy movie means nothing on who I am.

This movie is actually fairly decent, as I am a fan of the comedians on stage. I do agree that there larry wasnt his best during this show...but he was better than ron white. I dont like his comedy act at all, but hey...that's life eh? These guys are making a living, and by saying that you hate this movie you're actually saying that you dont respect 4 guys who are making a living making millions around the world laugh their butts off! It's ok to say that the movie wasnt well done, or that the performances were weak...but to say you hate the movie is over the top!
PS. Everyone has a valid right to state what they feel about a certain movie...but lets keep it directed at the actual movie and not about how much we cant stand this certain comedian because he jokes about things we deal with everyday...think about what you write before you write it....then write it;)
