fugly visuals

now you see here's a prime example of the limitations of video. This was apparently HIGH DEFINITION, according to IMDB. So this is what HD is, huh? And this is what's supposed to be competing with film? Ha.

The movie just looks absolutely horrible. It's just amateurish as hell looking... and very, well... 'videoy'. Can't put it much more clearly than that.

I agree 100%. The HD video quality is very low and makes for near-unwatchable images. Best advice: stick to film. I am just learning film making, and I have decided to use film; and for good reason. It is more expensive than video, but it is definitely worth the price, be it only for the beauty of the images.

I don't want realism. I want magic!
