a bit unrealistic

I think the show is great but it is a bit unrealistic. Every time I see Sue's colleagues talking to Sue from behind or the side... how the heck can she understand what they are saying if she is not facing this person?

One episode, everyone is sitting in a circle, chattering away... Sue laughs along and joins the converstation. How is she able to keep up with 5 people talking at the same time? It is impossible to read 5 lips at once.

I am a Deaf woman and I know for sure that if my sister was standing behind me and said my name, it is guaranteed that I won't turn around to say "what?"

The actress who played Sue Thomas---Deanne Bray---wears a hearing aid in her left ear, and that probably affected some of the scenes. But yeah, I get what you're saying.

Uh-oh.
Not a word you want to hear in this house.
Catch ya on the flip side.
