If they are going to be doing this progressive jackpot, I wish that they would reward just great/worthy teams with a chance to win it all. Perhaps if they would guess at least 7 or 8 correct words during bonus lingo they would have a chance to win a big jackpot. It makes the viewer cheer for the group to achieve the correct amount for a chance to win or cheer against if they don't like them, otherwise its just simple luck.
shareThere used to be a game show on in the late 70s called "the Big Showdown". It was all straight knowledge until the bonus game, which depended on the champion....rolling dice! That's right. The champion defeats two challengers and then can only win the big money if they roll double-sixes.
I loved the show, but I was only about 11 or so when it was on. That's what Bonus Lingo reminds me of, and quite honestly I wish there was another way to do a bonus round on this show.
