intro poems??

does anyone know what poems contain the lines in the def poetry intro? i know the "ideas kiss similes so deeply" is steve colemans, but i am not sure which one is " I got a story to tell", "your existence is fractionally status quo", "somebody's got to hear my story"

I always try to figure them out too. "Your existence is fractionally.." and "staus quo" are from different poems. I think it was Black Ice's poem from season 1 when he says "your existence is fractionally vaginal, while she held queen..." I'm positive it's Black Ice just not sure if it's from season 1 or 2. I know "Drop the empty pursuit of props is from Sarah Jones' "Your revolution."

That's all I can remember

The line "ideas kiss similes so deeply that metaphors get jealous" is from the poem "I Want to Hear a Poem" by Steve Coleman. Not sure which season (Season 1, i think) or episode. You can download from LimeWire!!!

It's season 1. I think it's the first poem ever on Def Poetry, actually.

After rewatching season 1 again for I don't know what number time I have gotten all the intro poems except "I got a story to tell" and "I just got my wings."

'..And I was searching'-Dawn Saylor
'Pharmaceutical Schemes..'-Black Ice

The other Black Ice line i got wrong. It was actually '..while she held queen, I mean your existence is fractionally vaginal.'
